Phil Nichols

Phil was born and spent his formative years in Wolverton. His main early career was in the Freight Forwarding Industry, initially with a major international organisation where he eventually became UK Sales Manager. More than half of his 23 years in this industry was spent forming his own company based in Preston which continues to trade profitably. Following his years in Forwarding he joined his first Chamber of Commerce in charge of the Heathrow operation of Thames Valley Chamber before being headhunted to set up and operate the British Chamber of Commerce, TEC National Council initiative to form Chambers of Commerce Trade and Industry by the merger of TEC’s and Chambers. Following this Phil joined the Forum of Private Business and worked for them in Westminster Phil Nichols, Federation of Small Businessesand Brussels representing the interests of Small Businesses. 
 

During this period he became SME representative for the UK working on the SME Charter for Europe. Phil then returned to the Chamber of Commerce movement and became in order Chief Executive at Ashford and then Lewisham before joining Milton Keynes Chamber working on Policy and Representation. Phil currently has his own company in Milton Keynes working with various Embassies and Chambers throughout the UK and represents the interests of local companies who are members of the Federation of Small Businesses.
